Best for: multi-generational family holidays and long weekend escapes with close friends.

It’s located right in between Easts Beach and Kendalls Beach (under a five-minute walk to each). The train goes right by here, making it a top spot to do the Kiama Coastal Walk from, particularly if you would prefer to train back to the start, rather than walk the full loop. Suits a solo sojourn or a loved-up couple.
3. Kiama Haven
Best for: families with teens or gatherings with friends.
An awesome Kiama Airbnb featuring ocean views, private gardens, three spacious bedrooms, and covered upper and lower decks (great for alfresco dining). And Kiama Haven is only 100 metres by foot to Easts Beach.
It’s suitable for large families, although toddlers aren’t recommended since the property runs adjacent to the nature reserve and it is not fully fenced.

4. La Terrasse Kiama
Best for: families and groups of friends.
La Terrasse is a modern split-level home centrally located to Surf Beach and the Manning Street shopping and cafe precinct.
La Terrasse is a superb Airbnb for large groups.
This three-bedroom property accommodates up to seven guests and has ample parking space for two cars. It can easily house two small families or a group of friends, especially with its full-width balcony with ocean-facing views and a large entertaining patio.

5. Santa Barbara Kiama
Best for: group bookings, a girl’s getaway, families and special occasions.
Santa Barbara is an exquisite villa with jaw-dropping views of Bombo Beach, which you can admire from the heated spa on the deck.
It’s right around the corner from the Historic Terrace Houses – an area that has a bunch of quaint cafes and boutique shops. Its three-bedroom, two-bathroom layout hosts up to eight guests and is only a five-minute walk to central Kiama.
Pets are welcome upon request, and the southern end of Bombo Beach is an off-leash dog-friendly zone.
6. Home in Minnamurra
Best for: nature lovers, adventure seekers and small group gatherings.
Located at the mouth of the Minnamurra River, this lovely holiday home in Minnamura is a sublime haven for fishing, relaxing on the many nearby beaches, and intrepid sightseeing missions in the Kiama region. Including the wonderful Minnamurra Falls and rainforest walk (insert article link).
There are two properties on one large block and they are completely private from each other, aside from the shared driveway access. The holiday house (originally built in the 1950s and tastefully renovated a few years back) features two double bedrooms and a loft with two single beds as well as two bathrooms, a laundry and a fully equipped kitchen.
The large, covered deck is accessed through the spacious living area which creates a zen-like environment overlooking the water. Kayaks are available for guest use and yoga equipment is too.
7. The Werri Shack

The word shack is misleading because The Werri Shack is in actually very stylish. This funky beach house (with a minimum two-night stay) is located in wine country – where the mountains meet the sea.
