Police Chief Scott Noel inspects multiple homes, looking at doors, windows, the lawn and the mailbox.Noel is keeping an eye on potential problems in front of him, down to the smallest details.Locked screen doors, Ring cameras and security systems all add an extra layer of protection to homes.According to Noel, officers are always willing to check, but it would also be a good idea to have someone trusted come by on a regular basis to make sure everything is OK.Blue Ash is not the only police department that does these home checks, with other agencies, including Montgomery, Kettering and Fairfield participating.On the Kentucky side of the river, the list includes Fort Mitchell, Wilder and Elsmere.
