An early morning security camera alert led to a large police presence in a Plaistow neighborhood Friday morning.Maple Road was blocked off for hours as police investigated a possible break-in.The owner of the home at 8 Maple Ave. said she was startled at work when she received a notification from her security system at the vacant home. One person who said he lived in the neighborhood told police he saw two people jump a fence and run toward the home early Friday morning.The homeowner said burglaries are rare in the neighborhood, but the home was broken into five years ago, and guns were stolen.Police cleared the scene and opened the road back up a little before 1 p.m.Plaistow police later said they believe the burglars left before police arrived.
