With much of the global fashion and sustainability industries at odds, Coach’s circular brand Coachtopia aims to fill in the gaps. Their newest docuseries, The Road to Circularity uncovers the people across the world that work with Coachtopia to achieve a sustainable reality.
In its first episode, viewers join host Aditi Mayer, a sustainable fashion advocate in India, to learn how Coach’s partners repurpose leather scraps into Coachtopia products. As the series progresses, each episode will continue to share how different parts of the production, distribution and consumption model are challenged to find sustainable alternatives.
“Since the founding of Coachtopia, we’ve been working closely with a wide range of inspiring young leaders through our Beta Community—and we have heard how frustrating fashion’s lack of transparency can be to this generation. That’s why we launched this docuseries… It’s our way of using brand storytelling to shed light on bigger issues and to spark conversations that have an impact beyond Coachtopia” says Joon Silverstein, SVP, Global Marketing and Sustainability at Coach and Head of Coachtopia in a press release.
