Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been used to restore vehicles, weapons, and other features of the original FPS Halo version, including material from the Halo RTS game abandoned since 1999. action.
As previously mentioned, Halo Digsite is an ongoing project aimed at restoring weapons, vehicles, and other content from abandoned draft versions of Halo using Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s editing tools. It’s a project. A collaboration between 343 Industries and Halo modders, Digsite is working to reintroduce features from the first version of Halo, originally designed as an RTS game in 1999.
A new trailer from the Halo modding community shows some of these features in action, including original tank versions, alternate Covenant dropship ship designs, humble miniguns, early chunky styles, and more. I can. Assault rifle. There are also various versions of the Spartan armor and slightly modified designs of the Classic Assault His Rifle and Elite Power Armor, detailing Halo’s potential.

According to Digsite’s initial post, the goal is to “provide as much beta content to the community as possible with the Halo: The Master Chief Collection editing suite.” Work is also underway to restore the “Earth City” level used in the clip. Everything here is still a work in progress, and while there’s no official word on the projected release date for Halo’s truncated content, this is what the iconic FPS series has been doing for years leading up to its final release.
