Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said Khan could no longer dominate the holidays. “The holiday season has always been very lucrative and profitable for the film industry, but things are changing now. After the pandemic, many films were delayed and did not go according to schedule and were released as soon as they were ready. There are 52 Fridays and some movies in the pipeline, they can’t hang forever, the holiday season is definitely good for business, but the content has to speak for itself. But there’s no denying that the business is the best right now, and ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Thank God’ are both blockbusters with big-name stars.”
