Apple released a lot of new software this week. The latest is iOS 16.1 Public Beta 1 following the recent release of the first developer beta of iOS 16.1.
There was also iOS 16 and watchOS 9 released to everyone this week. These new betas bring some of the features that were supposed to be released with the iOS 16 software update. Some of these features have been delayed and will be included when iOS 16.1 is released.
iOS 16.1 Public Beta 1 is essentially the same software as the new developer beta. Some of the new features coming to iPhone include battery percentage for all supported devices. This includes handsets such as iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini. more.
There is also a new live activity feature for iPhone lock screen. It’s a cool new iPhone feature that lets you share things like live sports and the status of his Uber order and more.
Another feature added in iOS 16.1 is the ability to remove the Wallet app from your iPhone. After this update you will be able to remove it completely.
