Lorde played a headliner set at Primavera Sound in Los Angeles on Friday (September 16), teasing new musical possibilities.

Regarding her past music, she adds:
Lorde’s debut album, pure heroine, which arrived in 2013 and reached number three on the Billboard 200 album chart. The set featured the hit “Royals,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks that same year. “The Team”, which was also featured on the set, reached the Top 10 on the charts.
The singer-songwriter’s 2017 follow-up album, melodramawhich debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and last year’s Solar power Start from number 5.
Lorde also touched on the theme of climate change Solar power During a gig at Primavera Sound.
“You all felt the heat wave last week,” she said, referring to spectacular mid-September temperatures in California that topped 100 degrees in many areas. “Remember it’s an emergency. Don’t adapt to 112 degree weather. This is a failure. It’s a definite crisis in our lives and I’m so scared.” All you can do is get out there and vote with the climate in mind and get out there, and that’s the best way to go.”
