Mercedes-Benz has announced that its latest electric vehicle, the Mercedes EQS SUV, has started production in the United States.
It is Mercedes-Benz’s first all-electric vehicle manufactured in the United States and is currently in production at its plant in Alabama.
Mercedes-Benz produces the all-electric EQS exclusively at its passenger car plants in North America. The line-off of these vehicles is an important step in Mercedes-Benz Cars’ global initiative to produce eight of his fully electric vehicles at his seven sites on three continents this year. His full-size EQS SUV is going into series production at the Mercedes-Benz Tuscaloosa plant in Alabama.
