At a time when many major filmmakers and actors have struggled to keep up with changing audience tastes, actor Nikhil Siddharth and director Chandu Mondeti are among the few box office winners these days. It turned out to resonate with fans in Karthikeya 2. The second part ended with a scene suggesting another film in the franchise.Towards the end of the film, Karthikeya is seen holding the key to the underwater city. Nikhil also revealed that the next film will be made in 3D.

The Karthikeya film series follows the adventures of a famous character played by Nikhil Siddhartha as he tries to unravel the strange mysteries he encounters on his journey. In the first part, medical student Karthikeya unravels the mystery surrounding the temple where people died from snake bites. In Karthikeya 2, he tries to unravel the mystery surrounding Lord Krishna’s anklet. Now, fans can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next film.
Nikhil is currently busy promoting the Malayalam version of Karthikeya 2, which is scheduled to open on September 23rd in Kerala. Besides Nikhil, the film also stars her Anupama Parameswaran, Anupam Kher and Aditya Menon in the lead roles.
