Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were in Qatar on Sunday for the FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France. While Deepika presented the trophy, Ranveer headed Indian cricket for his team and spent time with his coach, Ravi Shastri. In the video, Ravi introduces Ranveer and says, “Guess what happens. You won’t believe it. It’s a sudden bolt.” As Ranveer enters the frame, the actor says: Ravi adds, “Whenever something is going on, I think this guy is missing out.” Together they continue to sing “I don’t know what to say” before Ranveer kisses Ravi on the cheek.
Ravi Shastri, who shared the video, wrote on Instagram, “I don’t know what to say… @ranveersingh,” with the hashtags World Cup, Argentina, France, football and Qatar. Ranveer responded to the video in his comments section, stating, “OHHH RAV!!! What a crazy experience! I will never forget it!” Along with heart eyes emoji.
Viewers were surprised to see Ranveer in Qatar, having attended the final of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) in India the day before. An Instagram user commented on the video, “PKL final yesterday, World Cup final today,” while another called it “the best combo ever.”
Like Ranveer, Ravi was in Qatar for the FIFA World Cup. Argentina defeated France to win the trophy. It was also the last World Cup for Messi in Argentina.
