The Netflix film, set in the 1960s, is an Indian adaptation of the popular American comic Archies Comics, the manufacturer announced Monday that it has wrapped filming on Zoya Akhtar’s live-action musical “The Archies.” Netflix India shared the announcement on its official Twitter page.

Billed as a coming-of-age story based on India’s Anglo-Indian community, The Archies follows the lives of popular fictional teenagers Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle, and more. .
The film marks the acting debut of Suhana Khan, daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Khushi Kapoor, daughter of superstar Sridevi and film producer Bonnie Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda, grandson of megastar Amitabh Bachchan. It’s made. Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina also round out the cast of The Archies.

According to Netflix, production on the film ended on December 16th. The Archies is produced by Akhtar and her longtime collaborator Reema Kagti, under production companies Tiger Baby, Graphic India and Archie Comics.
