Swara Bhasker has accused Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra of ruining her love life. Swara said Aditya Chopra’s debut director Dilware Duruhania Ru Jaenghe (1995), which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as Raj and Simran, left her with a very different idea of romance. Swara is next seen in Jahan Char Yar, a film about female friendship featuring her alongside Pooja Chopra, Shikha Tarsanya and Meher Viji. Pooja and Swara talked about being single women and how their dreams of love and marriage have changed over the past few years.
In a conversation with MidDay, Swara said: Like Shah Rukh, but Raj. It took me years to realize that Raj doesn’t exist.
Pooja added the announcement, “Swara is single and ready to date.” But Swara declared, “It’s over. I can’t. I have no energy.” The actor added, “Living alone is hard. It’s like sifting through the trash.”
Jahan Char Yar, directed by Kamal Pandey, is set to hit theaters on September 16th. Not at all. The film also reunites Swara with her Viele Di Wedding co-star Sika Tarsania. Swara also has her Mrs. Falani in the pipeline. She essays nine roles in the film, which is a compilation of nine short stories.
