LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — Lower Paxton Township recently announced that they will be unveiling a new $100,000 security system at a local park in order to combat vandalism.
According to Lower Paxton Township, they have spent tens of thousands of dollars over the last few years in order to repair their park facilities due to acts of vandalism. Now, following a $5 million upgrade program that will impact all of the Township’s parks, the township will be unveiling a new $100,000 security camera system.
Since the camera system’s official installation, the township says that it has already captured one act of vandalism. Further details on the act will be released at a Thursday, April 10 press conference at 11 a.m.
The press conference will be held at Brightbill Park, located at 5000 Commons Drive in Lower Paxton Township. Th following officials will be in attendence:

- Lower Paxton Township Director of Public Safety, Adam Kosheba
- Lower Paxton Parks & Recreation Director, Rachelle Scott
